With the ÖBB railjet and intercity trains, you can reach Vienna Airport quickly and easily from any Austrian state capital - directly or with no more than one change at Vienna Main station. There are two departures per hour from Salzburg, Linz, Graz and Klagenfurt, and hourly departures from Innsbruck and Bregenz to Vienna Airport. From the station, it’s just a short indoor walk to the terminal building. Step-free access is also available. From Vienna Airport, we will take you home again safely and comfortably until late in the evening, e.g. to Graz at 23:02 and to Linz at 00:02.

ÖBB railjet and intercity trains travel to Vienna Airport via Wien Meidling and Vienna Main station twice an hour. With Bregenz, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Linz and St. Pölten, ÖBB is offering direct connections to Vienna Airport from a total of five Austrian state capitals.
The fastest connections get you there from Salzburg in only 2 hours 50 mins, from Linz in 1 hour 40 mins, from St. Pölten in 54 mins. There are hourly connections from Innsbruck and Bregenz to Vienna Airport, either direct or with a change. Neumarkt am Wallersee, Vöcklabruck, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck, Wels, St. Valentin, Amstetten and Tullnerfeld are also connected by ÖBB railjet or intercity trains every hour, either directly or with a short change at Vienna Main station.
From the south to Vienna Airport
The Koralm railway line also brings southern Austria closer to Vienna Airport. Southern Austria is connected to Vienna Airport every half hour, either directly or with a short change at Vienna Main Station.
For travellers from Villach, Klagenfurt and Graz, there are seven direct connections every two hours throughout the day.
The fastest travel time from Graz to Vienna Airport is 2 hours 45 minutes, and from Klagenfurt 3 hours 31 minutes. There are also hourly connections to Vienna Airport from Velden am Wörthersee, St. Paul im Lavanttal, Western Styria, Bruck/Mur, Kapfenberg and Mürzzuschlag.
