One app for all your tickets?
No matter where you’re travelling to, with the ÖBB app you can book your journey in just a few steps straight from your smartphone, whether it’s by train, bus, underground or tram. You can also get timetable information for your journey. A Vorteilscard can be linked to your account, and tickets can be presented for inspection with a single tap. Buy and show tickets
In addition to ÖBB tickets for domestic and international travel, the ÖBB App also lets you book city tickets as well as weekly and monthly passes. Tickets from Austria’s transport networks and the ÖBB Vorteilscard are also available directly in the app. Offers such as Sparschiene Österreich tickets can also be booked easily.
Add Vorteilscard and KlimaTicket to the ÖBB App
A Vorteilscard or the KlimaTicket can easily be saved in the ÖBB App and are therefore always at hand. Once saved in your ÖBB account, the cards appear in the app and can be shown immediately when needed. This saves time and effort, especially during inspections, as the cards are easy to find.
Ticket inspection and tracking your journey
With the app, you can track your journey conveniently on your smartphone, and mobile tickets serve as proof during a ticket inspection. The ÖBB App widgets provide even easier access to your tickets, Vorteilscard or KlimaTicket, directly on the home screen. This means all the required tickets and proof are accessible with just one tap.
Timetable and information in the ÖBB App
In the ÖBB App, the most important information about your journey is available at a glance: From which platform does the train depart? Which train number is the correct one? And when will it arrive at the destination station? The app provides the answers directly for the selected journey.
Before departure, it’s best to check the platform displays or listen to the loudspeaker announcements. And if you want to plan your entire journey in detail, the ÖBB Scotty App offers features such as real-time information, area maps, Live Map and info services.

- Visual seat selection: Do you absolutely want a window seat? Simply select the Railjet service, then under the reservation details go to ‘Go to visual seat selection’ and choose your preferred seat. If the train is scheduled to change direction, this is shown in the seat selection menu.
- Save favourite routes: Simply mark your regular route as a favourite and have your personal departures displayed directly on the home screen.
- SimplyGo!: Do you like travelling spontaneously and flexibly? The add-on feature SimplyGo! recognises the journeys you take and automatically determines the right public transport fare.

- Price filter: Want to see bargains first? With the price filter, you can sort by the cheapest ÖBB offers.
- Tickets for fellow passengers: Not travelling alone? Tickets and reservations for fellow passengers, as well as for bicycles and dogs, can also be booked in the app.
