With Interrail, you can discover Europe flexibly and independently by train. Interrail is valid on most trains operated by participating railway companies. Additional reservations may be required for high-speed trains, international long-distance trains and night trains. The reservation fees are not included in the Interrail Pass.

The cost of an Interrail Pass depends on the selected pass type, the travel duration, the number of travel days, your travel class, and your age. You can choose the Interrail Global Pass for travel through multiple countries, as well as One Country Passes for individual countries.

Buy an Interrail Pass from ÖBB
Interrail tickets are available as a classic paper ticket or a digital Mobile Pass for use on your smartphone. The Mobile Pass must be activated in the Rail Planner app and is displayed directly in the app. For many people, however, the physical ticket as a personal keepsake from their journey through Europe is part of the special Interrail experience.

Important information before purchasing from ÖBB
- When purchasing an Interrail ticket, proof of your country of residence and your date of birth is required. Please make sure to bring your ID card, passport or residence permit to the ticket counter.
- The Interrail Pass is issued in your name and is non-transferable.
- Reservations, for example for high-speed trains, international long-distance trains or night trains, are not included in the Interrail Pass and must be booked separately.
