Treasures of the Habsburgs

Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien ranks among the most significant museums in the world.

With its artistic treasures, Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien ranks among the most significant museums in the world. Unique major works by Dürer, Raffael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Tizian, Vermeer and Velásquez as well as the world’s largest Bruegel collection attest to the Habsburg Emperors’ and Arch Dukes’ passion for collecting. The Imperial Treasury Vienna in the Hofburg Palace contains unique Habsburg treasures, including the Austrian Imperial Crown and the Crown Treasure of the Holy Roman Empire with the Imperial Crown and the Holy Lance.
