Located directly on the Danube, in the heart of Linz, the Lentos Art Museum offers insights into works of classical modernism and contemporary art.
Highlights of the international art collection include works by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoschka, Herbert Bayer, Maria Lassnig, Franz Gertsch, Keith Haring and Valie Export. In total, the collection comprises over 1,700 paintings and sculptures as well as around 13,500 prints and 1,300 examples of artistic photography.
The changing special exhibitions focus on social developments and current issues and, with exciting accompanying events, invite visitors to discover unexpected perspectives and enjoy invigorating moments of art.
