From Innsbruck to Bolzano

By rail, you can travel throughout the European region of Tyrol in an environmentally friendly manner. With the timetable for 2015, we have introduced 21 connections in both directions on the route from Innsbruck to Bolzano. These include 5 direct long-distance connections, as well as 1 non-stop early morning/late evening connection with the new FLIRT regional trains operating in South Tyrol.

From Lienz to Fortezza/Franzensfeste and San Candido/Innichen

Every hour, a direct train runs from the lake town of Fortezza/Franzensfeste in South Tyrol to Lienz in East Tyrol and back. The onward connection from Lienz to Innsbruck operates at two-hour intervals. From Fortezza/Franzensfeste, you can reach Munich or Verona with only one change of trains. Furthermore, there are additional trains offering the possibility of transporting bicycles between Lienz and San Candido/ Innichen. Tickets are available at the ÖBB ticket shop, at the ÖBB ticket vending machines and the ÖBB ticket counters.
