The historic walled town of Eggenburg invites you to its medieval old town for the festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026 (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM) and Sunday, September 13, 2026 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM). The festival grounds are located in the heart of the town and utilize the authentic backdrop of the old fortifications.
Under the theme "A Journey Back to the Middle Ages," visitors can expect an experience with jugglers, knights, and acrobatics – as always, within the impressive city walls of Eggenburg's old town, the entire town becomes a stage. The festival is one of Austria's largest medieval events: Numerous merchants, craftspeople, artists, and entertainers transform the town into a vibrant scene from bygone eras.
