Esterházy Palace

Centuries-old residence and cultural site

The distinctive and imposing Schloss Esterházy (Esterházy Palace) has been much more than the cultural epicenter of Eisenstadt for several centuries now.

The Palace Ticket (self-guided visit) opens the door to multiple exhibitions: "The Princess’s Apartment" and "Highlights of Esterházy Palace" offer insights into life at court and also allow visitors to admire the famous Haydn Hall. The exhibitions "Haydn Explosive" and "Melinda Esterházy" cast light on the activities of two important figures, and visitors will find Austria’s largest wine museum dedicated to winemaking in the palace cellars.
