Zell am See-Kaprun is one of the best-known and most legendary winter sports regions in the Alps. With the new K-ONNECTION cableway connections from Kaprun directly to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier skiing area and the zellamseeXpress from Glemmtal to the Schmittenhöhe, the region is paving the way to becoming one of the biggest and most varied ski regions in Austria. Starting in winter 19/20, the Ski ALPIN CARD combination ticket offers endless skiing pleasure on 408 kilometres of slopes including glaciers with 100% guaranteed snow and 121 lift facilities.

Your connections

There’s a train connection to Zell am See at least every two hours from Vienna. The route runs via St. Pölten and Linz with a transfer in Salzburg Main Station.

Direct Railjet connection from Vienna

As in recent years, direct Railjet connections will also run between Vienna and Zell am See this winter. There are three direct connections per weekend to choose from in the period from 27 December 2019 to 13 April 2020. To the full timetable
