The ÖBB Intercitybus (ICB) complements our top long-distance trains in the South of Austria. During your bus trip, you enjoy the service and the quality you are used to from rail travel.
First-class amenities
On the ÖBB Intercitybus, you travel safely and comfortably. Each bus offers generous, comfortable seats in 1st and 2nd class and is equipped with a toilet as well as air conditioning. In 1st class, you can expect elegant leather seats, working areas, electrical outlets and a newspaper service.

How to get your ticket
Tickets are available from the ÖBB Ticketshop, the ÖBB App, the ÖBB customer service at +43 (0)5 1717, as well as from the ÖBB ticket counters.
The ÖBB rail fare applies for the bus journey. As usual, you receive up to 50% discount with your ÖBB Vorteilscard. Contingents for Sparschiene tickets are also available. Please note that transport association tickets (e.g. regional climate tickets, school network tickets) are not valid on the IC bus.
Bicycle transport on the bus is possible to a limited extent - but please reserve in advance.
Barrier-free travel in the intercity bus
Every double-decker bus has a wheelchair space in the low-floor area. Please register your trip at least 2 working days in advance with Mobility Service on +43 (0)5 1717 5 or online.
