Kunst mit Salz und Wasser, Sudhaus Bad Ischl

sudhaus

art with salt & water

sudhaus is the central art exhibition of the European Capital Bad Ischl - Salzkammergut 2024.
It was once called "white gold": salt was a crucial element in shaping the entire region. To this day, it remains an important commodity that has brought prosperity to some and wealth to a few. Without water and wood, there would be no salt production.

The exhibition begins with a historical overview of salt, water, and wood, before moving on to contemporary art, which explores the themes of salt and water using an artistic approach. With the participation of both local and world-renowned artists, an extremely diverse range of themes will be presented.
