The rail network operated by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG includes ca. 1400 stations and stops (stations, station halts) and 11000 km of track. 7900 km are electrified by catenary. The route network also has ca. 800 signal boxes (of which 200 are electric), ca. 260 tunnels and galleries, ca. 6500 bridges and viaducts and ca. 6000 rail junctions.
