With its artistic treasures, Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien ranks among the most significant museums in the world. Unique major works by Dürer, Raffael, Rubens, Rembrandt, Tizian, Vermeer and Velásquez as well as the world’s largest Bruegel collection attest to the Habsburg Emperors’ and Arch Dukes’ passion for collecting. Kunstkammer Wien showcases 2,200 important works of art such as the famous Salt Cellar by Benvenuto Cellini.
Kaiserliche Schatzkammer Wien - located in the oldest part of the Hofburg palace - holds unique Habsburg treasures such as the Austrian Imperial Crown and the Crown Jewels of the Holy Roman Empire including the Imperial Crown.
