Picture in the Albertina in Vienna

The Albertina, located in Vienna's historic city centre, combines imperial flair with unique fine art masterpieces.

It is in the heart of Vienna: the Albertina. Formerly a Habsburg residential palace - today a museum of international standing with a varied range of exhibitions and the permanent exhibition "Monet to Picasso. The Batliner Collection". We have something for every taste in art.

Aside from art, you can let yourself be carried away into the world of the Habsburgs. Visit our 20 fully restored state rooms furnished with precious original furniture. How did the founders of the Albertina, Duke Albert von Sachsen-Teschen and his wife Marie-Christine, live 250 years ago? Original inlaid floors, colorful wall coverings made of silk, chandeliers, fireplaces and much more testify to the splendor of classicism. Travel back in time and experience ducal life up close.
