The WolfgangseeSchifffahrt is one of Salzburg AG Tourismus’s GmbH five treasures. This boat trip around the crystal-clear Wolfgangsee in the Salzkammergut gives you the chance to hop on and hop off spontaneously at seven stops. Among the beautiful places the boat calls at are the towns of Strobl, St. Wolfgang and St. Gilgen. The elegant art nouveau villas, the turquoise water, the noon bell of the famous pilgrimage church and the view of the surrounding mountains guarantee you an authentic Salzkammergut experience!
With its four modern passenger boats and a classic old-style vessel, the WolfgangseeSchifffahrt has the largest lake fleet in Austria. The WolfgangseeTicket allows you to get on and off once at each of the seven landing stages.

Arriving from Salzburg
Bus 150 runs directly from Salzburg railway station to St. Gilgen, on the shores of the Wolfgangsee. The “St. Gilgen” pier, which is on the WolfgangseeSchifffahrt route, is within walking distance of the bus station. The bus transfer is not included in the ÖBB Plus ticket price!
