In the mood for wine and food? LOISIUM World of Wine in the Kamptal is a hotspot for wine lovers, foodies, adventure seekers and fans of design and architecture. There are countless reasons for this. For one, the Cube is an architectural masterpiece by the renowned US architect Steven Holl, who created a truly inspiring building that really is one of a kind.
And if visiting a normal wine shop isn’t enough for you, the diversity of wines and architecture at LOISIUM World of Wine is sure to blow you away. Take it all in on an interactive tour through the 900-year-old labyrinth of cellars, following mysterious paths that wend their way deep underground, beneath the vines themselves.
For our younger guests, an intriguing puzzle involving the cellar mice Frida and Fridolin, experienced through a multimedia guide, makes for an exciting adventure.
The adjoining wine store is the perfect venue for a date with more than 200 local wines, juices and other specialities. After sampling that sweet nectar, you can buy some to take home at ex-cellar prices. Now it’s just a case of saying: “Next stop, Langenlois!”
