In 2018, the colourful event series for the Lower Austrian Summer Garden will be hosting a very special highlight: Under the title "GREEN ART - A city grows beyond itself", the garden city of Tulln will be transformed into an all-round attraction for gardening enthusiasts from 5 May to 30 September. In addition to city-wide garden artworks, one of the highlights is the exhibition "#TullnART - Garden of Artists" in the town hall / Minorite monastery.
In this exhibition, 20 contemporary artists offer insights into their interpretation of themes such as garden, nature and wilderness. Their works, installations and projects open up new perspectives, show unconventional views and stimulate discourse - in keeping with the motto "utside the fence lies the miracle" The exhibition also includes collaborations between biotech researchers at Campus Tulln Technopol and artists, as well as a focus on local and global themes of the future.
