The next comfort level in long distance travelling with the shortest possible journey times is the EuroCity. Naturally, there are also some service extras such as last minute reservations and dining cars.

InterCity
Also on the InterCitys, the national trains travelling in regular intervals between the major cities and tourism centres, you can enjoy top quality comfort.
Long distance trains travelling during the day have first class wagons offering special comfort and generous space. For your first class trip on a EuroCity or InterCity train we also offer newspapers and seat service.

D trains
Functionally equipped D trains round off the offer of ÖBB on long distance travels.
