Path Ordering Process

Network Access offers the following path ordering options:

  • Online Path Ordering System M-AMA
  • Path Order Forms
  • Pathfinder (international path ordering)
     

The diagram below shows the ordering deadlines for the Annual Timetable (starting in mid December each year):

Principal Ordering:

Notification/Preview of change to regular traffic .Give notice if possible
by 01.12.2011
Notification of regular timetable changes. Give notice if possible
by 01.03.2012
Path orders for single paths
10. 04.2012, 24:00 at the last

Ordering deadlines for the next timetable period:

Notification/Preview of changes to regular traffic.Give notice if possible by 01.12.2012

Ordering deadlines for traffic in the running timetable as regards changes to the annual timetable by Timetable Change Request:
(essentially applicable on a monthly cycle from the first Monday in the month when this is a working day):

  • Ordering deadline approximately seven weeks before coming into effect from the first Monday of the month
    when this is a working day

Ordering deadlines for traffic in the running timetable for special trains (trains added via FAPLO)

  • Ordering deadline if possible two months before running
  • At the latest two weeks before running
  • In exceptional cases up to one working day before running
     

Ordering deadlines for ad-hoc traffic (PA 722.41)
Due to the short-term nature the following responsibilities are applicable:

  • for traffic on the same day 00:00 – 23:59: Ordering is via the responsible Regional Traffic Manager (Regionale Verkehrsleitung RVL)
  • for traffic after unplanned route blocks for the current day and for a maximum of the next three Network Access Dept. working days Ordering is via the responsible Regional Traffic Manager (Regionalen Verkehrsleitung RVL / BFZ)
  • for traffic from the next day onwards during office hours* Ordering Ad-hoc passenger traffic:
  • for traffic from the next day onwards outside office hours* Ordering is via the responsible RVL Ost, Nord, Mitte, Süd or BFZ Innsbruck
     

The Network Access Dept. office hours are Mo - Fr 08:00 – 15:00, excluding public holidays and  24th and 31st December
