RailNetEurope (RNE) is the marketing and sales organisation of the major
European railway infrastructure companies.
The objective of the RNE is to stimulate international railway traffic and to
facilitate cross-border rail access by means of competent consultations and
through the international sales network of the One Stop Shops (OSS).
In line with the EU directives, RNE is available to all railway undertakings
concerning issues of network access and train path allocation – just like a
uniform European railway network. The customers of RNE are railway undertakings
aiming to run cross-border operations.
RNE’s Joint Office is located in Vienna. From there, RNE represents its members
and guarantees all railway undertakings the non-discriminatory access to the
railway network of its members.
