As Austria's largest mobility provider it is ÖBB's aim to allow all passengers to comfortably travel by rail. More than one million people in our country are temporarily or permanently limited in their mobility. This includes disabled people as well as elderly or frail people. In order to offer this customer group suitable travel facilities, ÖBB continuously invests in barrier free access.
From 01.01.2014 on, we have a special offer for passengers with reduced mobility: With the "österr. Behindertenpass" or "Schwerkriegsbeschädigtenausweis" passengers with reduced mobility travel for 50 % less with the ÖBB in Austria. You don't need an extra ÖBB customer card.
