ÖBB operates 2 S-Bahn lines in Vorarlberg

Line S1

  • Bludenz - Lindau 
    The S1 takes you from the Alpine city of Bludenz to Lindau by the Swabian Sea in approximately 60 minutes. All important local transport hubs such as Bregenz, Dornbirn and Feldkirch are located along the route.

Line S3

  • Bregenz - St. Margrethen 
    The trip from Bregenz to the important local transport hub Lustenau takes only 11 minutes. From the border station St. Margrethen, you continue on to St. Gallen and the international airport in Zurich.

Regional connection Feldkirch-Buchs

  • Feldkirch - Buchs 
    Up to 9 pairs of regional trains run daily on the 19 km route, connecting Austria with Liechtenstein and Switzerland. An S-Bahn connection is currently being planned (FL.A.CH Project).
