If you want to experience change, travel to Linz. No other city has undergone such an impressive transformation in recent years. Linz now inspires its visitors with a lively city centre, the urban flair by the Danube, unique media arts in the museums and highly praised productions in the music halls.
If you want to take a glance at coming developments, a visit to the Ars Electronica Center is ideal. In the museum of the future, technological pioneering meets visionary media arts. The city’s openness is also apparent at Linz’s harbour, where one of the largest connected graffiti galleries has emerged. Visitors are also astounded by beautiful views on Pöstlingberg and at Höhenrausch. The popular media arts exhibition above the roofs of the city is entering the next round in spring.
Further highlights include voestalpine Stahlwelt, Lentos Kunstmuseum and the Musiktheater, which is one of the most modern opera houses in Europe. If you visit Linz, you’ll return home with many memories and perhaps change a little yourself.
