Every year, the Krems Caricature Museum - a unique institution in Austria - brings thousands of visitors to the Wachau. After the completion of renovation works which are scheduled to start in early 2017, the museum will hit the ground running on 14 May 2017 with amazing highlights in brand new showrooms. Apart from the fully redesigned permanent exhibition “IMMER WIEDER DEIX!” and the “SIMPLICISSIMUS” show, the museum will be hosting the large highlight exhibition “WERBUNG TRIFFT CARTOON” (from 28 May onwards). This exhibition builds a bridge from historic cultural cartoons in early advertising materials to modern cartoons such as the world-famous Red Bull advertising campaign. The interactive educational programme ensures that a visit to the exhibition becomes a very special experience!

The presentations will take on the form of comprehensive theme-oriented and personal exhibitions. As an additional showroom, the Krems Kunsthalle now also has access to the Dominican Church in the Krems city centre.
