The mighty Hohenwerfen Fortress towers over the Salzach Valley. If you set off to explore all of its nooks and crannies, you will discover, among other things, a scary torture chamber, a dark dungeon, as well as countless weapons and wall-walks. The children's riddle rally takes you through the castle in ten stations, inviting you to try out new things and prove your strength. A magnificent highlight is the flight display of the birds of prey held by the Falconry Centre. And don't forget to stop by at the rustic castle tavern. Direct walking path from Werfen train station to the castle!
