Inexpensive trips to Czech cities

With Sparschiene, you can travel by rail from Vienna to Brno for as little as 9 euros. From Vienna or Linz, the trip to Prague costs 19 euros, from Salzburg, Graz or Klagenfurt 29 euros. The ÖBB Railjet runs at two-hour intervals between Graz and Prague.

You can get your Sparschiene ticket at the ÖBB ticket shop or via the ÖBB App. You can also buy it from the ÖBB customer service at +43 (0)5 1717, at the ÖBB ticket counters or from travel agencies selling train tickets. The offer is limited - it is therefore advisable to book your ticket well ahead of time.

Tip

Save money while changing trains
You can also use Sparschiene tickets to travel to the Czech Republic during the daytime, including on connections where you need to change trains. These tickets are valid from all ÖBB train stations and stops in Austria to most destinations in the Czech Republic.
