Easy on the budget

With Railplus, approximately 30 railway operators throughout Europe offer you a discount of 25 % on regular 1st and 2nd class tickets. Prerequisite: you must cross a border on your trip, for example from Vienna to Munich.

How to get your Railplus discount

In order to be eligible for discounts on international trips, you merely need an ÖBB Vorteilscard or an ÖBB Österreichcard. These customer cards automatically come with a Railplus function - without any additional costs to you.

Your Vorteilscard on your smartphone and your self-printed temporary Vorteilscard (after you have booked it online) are only valid for travel with ÖBB in Austria. In order to travel abroad, you will need your credit card-sized customer card.
