Swiss Travel System
The Swiss Travel System tickets are as individual as your holiday plans, travel and excursion destinations: choose your own personal route on a network of about 26,000 kilometres of train, bus and boat routes throughout Switzerland. When purchasing your Swiss Travel System ticket, you will receive a map with an overview on the exact area of validity.
With ÖBB's SparSchiene offer you can travel to Switzerland already from as little as 19,- Euro.
Special offer Swiss Pass 4+1
From 1 February through 30 April 2013, seize the opportunity offered by the special 4+1 Swiss Pass and travel first class through all of Switzerland for five days at the price normally charged for four days.In 1st class for as little as 363 Euros (for 2 persons or more only 308 Euros).
The offer is only available for 1st Class.Advance booking is possible as of 1 January 2013.
Swiss Pass
The Swiss Pass allows you unlimited travel on the network of the Swiss Travel System on 4, 8, 15 or 22 consecutive days or during an entire month.
Apart from the panorama routes, the Swiss Pass is also valid for trams and buses in 75 cities and gives you 50 % reduction on most of the mountain railways. And what’s more, you can also take advantage from free admissions to more than 470 museums.
Swiss Flexi Pass
The Swiss Flexi Pass allows you to choose the days you want to travel. You can travel on 3, 4, 5 or 6 days of your choice within one month without any limits on the network of the Swiss Travel System and enjoy the same benefits as with the Swiss Pass. Between the first and last validated day, you receive 50 % reduction on any other travels by rail, bus, boat and most of the mountain railways.
Swiss Saver Pass
The Swiss Pass and the Swiss Flexi Pass are even more attractive in combination with the Swiss Saver Pass: it gives you 15 % reduction for every person, if two or more people are travelling together.
Swiss Youth Pass
For purses that still need to grow: youths under 26 years of age receive 25 % reduction on the Swiss Pass. The Swiss Youth Pass entitles to the same benefits as the Swiss Pass.
Swiss Transfer-Ticket
The Swiss Transfer Ticket brings you from the Swiss border or the airport to your destination and back. This ticket is the ideal solution for short stays or winter holidays. The most direct route must be taken for the outward and return trip and each trip must be completed within one day.
Swiss Card
The Swiss Card offers the same benefits as the Swiss Transfer Ticket. Between the first and the last day validated for unlimited travel, in addition to the outward and return journey between the Swiss border or the airport and your destination, you also receive 50 % reduction on any travels by rail, bus, boat and most of the mountain railways. The Swiss Card is valid until the day of your return trip, however, at the most for one month. The most direct route must be taken for the outward and return trip and each trip must be completed within one day. The Swiss Card is the perfect solution for holidays in one region only.
Swiss Travel System-Familienkarte
The Family Card is an additional service of the Swiss Travel System and is issued free-of-charge on request. It allows children under 16 years of age to travel free-of-charge, when accompanying one or both of their parents.
Children from 6 to under 16 years of age, not travelling with their parents, receive 50 % reduction on the Swiss Pass, Swiss Flexi Pass and the Swiss Transfer Ticket.
Anyone with permanent residence outside of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein is entitled to purchase Swiss Travel System tickets. No photo is required. A passport or identity card is sufficient.
The tickets of the Swiss Travel System can be booked at any ÖBB ticket counter, through the ÖBB Customer Service (+43(0)5-1717) and in the station travel offices "Reisebüro am Bahnhof".
