EVENTticket informations

With the ÖBB EVENTticket you can travel at reduced rates on certain dates and to certain events. And naturally also back home. The reduction on a one-off outward and return journey (no single journeys possible) is 25 % on the standard fare within the validity period. The return ticket is only valid in connection with the admission ticket to the event or a respective visitor’s confirmation.

Such reduced tickets can be purchased online in a very simple procedure. If you have an ÖBB EVENTticket voucher, please contact one of ÖBB’s points of sale. Note: the ticket can be purchased neither from train attendants nor at ticket vending machines.

The ÖBB EVENTticket

• is valid from all ÖBB stations to the place of the respective event and back
• is generally valid from one day before to one day after the event
• is valid on 2nd class (also 1st class is possible by special agreement) and does not include any reservation for global price trains
• any changes of the transport route and stopovers are not admissible
• ÖBB EVENTtickets cannot be refunded
• EVENTtickets are not valid on special trains and on private railway routes

Online booking
Click "Book online" in the overview of the selected event. This will open the ticket booking screen. Order and payment of the ÖBB EVENTticket is made according to the specified booking and payment options.

After transmission of the encoded ticket data as confirmation, the Internet print is only valid as ticket in connection with a VORTEILScard with photo. If you have a VORTEILScard without photo, the print is only valid in connection with an official photo identification.

Tickets can be purchased at ÖBB points of sale (with the exception of train attendants and ticket vending machines)
Click "Voucher.pdf" in the overview of the selected event. This will open the ÖBB EVENTticket voucher.

Print it out and present it when you purchase your ticket. ÖBB also accepts copies and black and white prints. Please check the opening hours* of the ÖBB ticket counters!

Additional benefits
For some events, there are also additional benefits or reduced admission fees available, which are offered on site in co-operation with the organiser. These special offers are shown on the voucher (click "Voucher.pdf").
