The handiest way to get your ÖBB ticket. With our Handy-Ticket service, you can purchase train tickets via mobile phone for trains in Austria on ÖBB routes prior to departure. To do this, just send an SMS with the required route to 0828 20 200.
Bookings on your mobile phone by SMS and WAP
This is how settlement is made:
- Registered A1 private customers simply pay through their mobile phone bill
- Registered Orange, T-Mobile and tele.ring customers conveniently pay by paybox through their bank account
- Other customers pay by paybox through their bank account after having registered for paybox at www.paybox.at
- In total, you can purchase tickets for a maximum of 6 passengers per order. VORTEILScard customers also receive a premium for self booking [Selbstbucher-Bonus]. You can get tickets for one-way trips at the standard and VORTEILSprice.
With A1, you can also use your BUSINESScard and get tickets for the core zones of Vienna, Graz, Linz, Klagenfurt, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. For journeys exceeding 71 km, you can purchase your Handy-Ticket in advance (14 days).
Notice:
The tickets are issued in your name, non-negotiable and must not be forwarded as SMS. Please remember to bring official photo identification! Unfortunately, a refund of Handy-Tickets is not possible.
The price is calculated for the usual transport route.
Different fees for SMS and WAP use will be charged by your provider depending on your mobile phone tariff. For detailed information please ask your provider.
Currently, no bookings can be made for the route Graz-Klagenfurt on the Intercitybus.
